📋 IMPORTANT NOTICE: Before beginning installation, ensure you have:
- Your company email address (provided by HR/IT)
- Initial login credentials (if applicable)
- Administrator rights on your computer (contact IT if needed)
- Stable internet connection
1. MICROSOFT TEAMS SETUP PROCEDURES
1.1 Desktop Installation (Windows/macOS)
Step 2: Install the Application
- Locate the downloaded file in your "Downloads" folder
- Windows: Double-click the .exe file and follow the installation wizard
- macOS: Double-click the .pkg file and follow the installation prompts
- Accept the license terms when prompted
- Choose installation location (default recommended)
Step 3: Sign In & Configure
- Launch Microsoft Teams from your Start Menu or Applications folder
- Enter your company email address: [YourEmail@company.com]
- Click "Next"
- Enter your password when prompted
- Complete Multi-Factor Authentication (see Section 3 below)
- Configure audio/video settings during first-time setup
- Set notification preferences
1.2 Mobile Installation (iOS/Android)
Step 1: Download from App Store
- Unlock your mobile device
- Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
- Search for: "Microsoft Teams"
- Tap "Install" or "Get"
- Wait for download and installation to complete

Step 2: Setup & Permissions
- Open the Microsoft Teams app
- Tap "Sign In"
- Enter your company email address and password
- Complete MFA verification
- Allow required permissions:
- ✅ Notifications (for messages and alerts)
- ✅ Microphone (for meetings)
- ✅ Camera (for video calls)
- ✅ Contacts (optional, for finding colleagues)
2. MICROSOFT OUTLOOK SETUP PROCEDURES
2.1 Desktop Installation (Windows/macOS)
Step 1: Access Office Portal
- Open web browser and go to: https://www.office.com
- Sign in with your company credentials
- Click on your profile icon (top right)
- Select "My Account"

Step 2: Install Office Suite
- Click on "Install Office"
- Select "Office 365 apps"
- Run the downloaded installer
- Follow the installation wizard
- Accept license agreement
- Choose installation type (recommend "Default")
- Wait for installation to complete (15-30 minutes)
Step 3: Configure Outlook
- Open Microsoft Outlook from Start Menu/Applications
- For first-time setup, click "Next"
- Select "Yes" to set up Outlook account
- Enter your name, email address, and password
- Click "Finish" - Outlook will auto-configure
- Set up signature: File → Options → Mail → Signatures
2.2 Mobile Installation (iOS/Android)
Step 1: Download Outlook App
- Open App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android)
- Search for: "Microsoft Outlook"
- Tap "Install"
- Wait for download to complete

Step 2: Add Email Account
- Open Outlook app
- Tap "Get Started"
- Enter your company email address
- Tap "Continue"
- Enter your password
- Complete MFA verification if prompted
- Allow necessary permissions
3. MICROSOFT AUTHENTICATOR SETUP
🔐 SECURITY REQUIREMENT: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is mandatory for all company accounts. Microsoft Authenticator is our approved MFA method.
Step 1: Install Authenticator App
- On your smartphone, open app store
- Search for: "Microsoft Authenticator"
- Download and install the app
- Open the Authenticator app after installation

Step 2: Add Work Account
- Tap the "+" (plus) icon
- Select "Work or school account"
- Choose setup method:
- Option A: Scan QR code (from computer)
- Option B: Enter code manually
- Follow on-screen instructions
- Test by approving a sign-in notification
⚠️ CRITICAL BACKUP STEPS:
- In Authenticator app, go to Settings
- Tap "Backup"
- Enable "Cloud Backup"
- Save your recovery codes in a secure location
- Print recovery codes or store in password manager
4. PASSWORD RESET PROCEDURE
4.1 Reset Password on www.wbtsok.com
Step 2: Verify Identity
- Enter your username or company email
- Select verification method:
- ✅ Email verification code
- ✅ Microsoft Authenticator approval
- ✅ Security questions
- Complete the selected verification
Step 3: Create New Password
- Enter a strong new password meeting requirements:
- Minimum 12 characters
- Uppercase and lowercase letters
- At least one number (0-9)
- At least one special character (!@#$%)
- Cannot be previous 5 passwords
- Confirm new password
- Click "Reset Password"
✅ PASSWORD RESET SUCCESSFUL:
- You will see confirmation message
- Wait 5-10 minutes for sync across all systems
- Microsoft Authenticator will continue working
- Update password in mobile email apps if needed
5. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Common Installation Issues
Problem: "Installation Failed" or "Cannot Install"
Solution:
- Check available disk space (minimum 4GB free)
- Disable antivirus temporarily during installation
- Run installer as Administrator (right-click → Run as Administrator)
- Download installer again (corrupted download)
Problem: "Cannot Sign In" or "Invalid Credentials"
Solution:
- Verify correct email address format

- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Try private/incognito browser mode
Problem: Microsoft Authenticator Not Working
Solution:
- Ensure device time is set to automatic
- Check internet connection on phone
- Re-add account in Authenticator app
